I am Eddie Jan a new and novice Linux user, I am trying to install MS Office 2007 Everything goes well until the setup runs.
I enter the Product Key and get as far as Install Now , then I get an error message MS Office Enterprise has encountered an error during setup. I click close and then return to the terminal screen
Can anyone help, please?

As a novice to the Free and Open source world you had to learn lot of thing. First almost all the software’s that created for Microsoft environment do not work directly in the Linux environment. It is better to use Softwares that come for Open source Operating Systems such as Open Office. But if you want to work with Microsoft Office 2007 in Linux environment, It is also possible. But you have to use free software application that aims to allow computer programs written for Microsoft Windows to run on Unix-like operating systems. I normally us the softeare called “Wine”
