Aside from being a qualified Accountant, I am experienced in Computer Programming since 1976 and familiar with spreadsheets since the introduction of Lotus 1-2-3. But I get confused by macro/scripting in Lotus SmartSuite 9.7. I am still baffled even if there are instructions in LotusScript Programmer’s Guide or in LotusScript Language Reference. Can someone help me on how to run a macro/script? I will be very happy. Thank you.

Sorry to hear that problem. I have a solution for you. Follow the step by step process below:

From the menu, try to use tools>user set-up>

And then deactivate the run autoexecue.macros.

You also need to remove the attached file on .EXE icon.

Choose properties by pressing the right click of the mouse.

From the window properties,> opposite traget, you can see the 123.exe headed off with the path.

After the 123.exe remove the path filename and then click apply > OK.Â

This will let you run macro/script in lotus.
