Today I have tried to establish a Network Setup of Windows Server 2008 with IIS Server and 30 Windows 7 Clients in a Workgroup Model LAN. Before this setup all Clients are connected through Windows XP OS and Network Works fine but Windows 7 PCs shows Unidentified Network. How to establish a windows 7. Sometime PCs Access my IIS Server but some time it shows Error. I am Unable to Find exact mistake please help me. Client and server have manual IP Address.

Hello Young Hern,

 

Try to use the Network Troubleshooter program that comes with Windows 7. It can be found by right clicking the network icon found in the task bar and click 'Open Network and Sharing Center'. Answer the following question if they appear and it should help you fix the problems. Sometimes it will require internet connection when it asks or a driver upgrade but most of the time it will fix the problem for you.
