I am using Windows 7 and Laser Jet printer P2014 which saves multiple print commands.

However, the commands cannot be remove from the printing command queue.

It continues even after switching of the printer and turning it on.

The same problem does not occur while using my laptop with Windows XP.

  1. Go to Control Panel-Administrative tool-Services then find out print Spooler from name list.
  2. From the service status, stop the service then start it again.
  3. Now you can delete printing command from the queue.
  4. It's better to make sure that in recovery tab fist and second failure actions are selected as Restart the service.

Please see the attached file.

Hello Julianne,

If you want to remove multiple print commands from the queue for Windows 7 or vista operating system, try to follow these steps. Starting with, Click the start button then on the search bar type the word command; look for the command prompt then right click and choose Run as administrator. Type in net stop spooler then press the ENTER Key on your keyboard. Then you need to type del %systemroot%System32spoolprinters* /Q then press ENTER key and then type net start spooler then press Enter. Last is type in EXIT and press ENTER to close the command window.
