I don't know what happen to my dvd-rom. Last week, I was able to insert a dvd and watch a movie. However this week I don't know what happen to my dvd-rom. I inserted several dvd but it always fail to detect it. What would be the possible problem? How will I fix this problem?

If the DVD Drive does not read or write and is shown as disabled, just follow the tips below.
Go to start and then search run and type regedit. Then after that, a window will prompt a Registry Editor. Find a folder with a name of HIKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE, then open it. Under the folder go to SYsTEM folder and click CONTROL. Then find the 4D363965-e325-11c3-bfc1-08002be10318 and click it. After you click the folder file, see the right window and Delete upperFilter and LowerFilter. Then close the window.
After deleting the files, go to start and restart your computer.
After that you can go to my computer and start watching movies.
