Hello,

You have to use antivirus software. Many antivirus software have a quarantine folder where infected files are kept. I advise you to install Nod32 on your computer. When Nod32 finds an infected file it will move your file to quarantine folder, so your file won't be used anymore. Some viruses can be cleaned but some of them can't, so you can use them inside quarantine but that's on your risk.

If your computer got infected by a Trojan horse but you can still access it, try downloading Sophos Virus Removal Tool and install it. This tool is designed to remove malware and viruses on already infected computer. Once installed, start Sophos then wait until the virus definitions gets updated. When update is complete, start scanning your computer.

If you have an existing antivirus or internet security program, you don’t need to uninstall it. This Sophos tool works alongside any antivirus program you may have. The scanning will take time to finish depending on the size of your drives and the amount of data it stores. The tool will scan everything on your computer including external drives connected to the USB ports.

When a virus is found at the end of the scan, remove it then repeat the scan over and over until it no longer detects a virus. This tool is not an antivirus. It doesn’t provide real-time protection. It is an on-demand virus removal tool that you use when your antivirus has been disabled or becomes useless after the system got infected.

The program expires after several months, 3 months I think, and you need to download the tool again beyond this period if you want to use it again.
