Hi Mr. Robin,

It is important to remember your computer name or your computer's IP address in order to remotely shut down your PC. If you have remembered any of them please follow the below steps.
1. Go to the start button-all programs-accessories-command prompt.
2. Right click on command prompt icon.
4. Click on run as administrator.
5. Type in the command prompt shutdown /i and hit enter.
6. Now remotely shutdown dialog box will appear.Click on add button.
7. Put your remote computer name or IP address and OK.
8. Select the option what do you want these computers to do:
9. Write some comments
10. OK.

Hello Dear,

Thanks for sharing your problem with us.

Dear there are many software are available in market which can makes your this task done.

I suggest you to use "Team Viewer" in this regard.

It is a best remote control software. You have to just set it up in your computer as i am going to tell you.

Download it from this link.

https://www.teamviewer.us/

Install it. When you will connect to the internet after installing it. It will show you "Your ID" and "Password" you have to remember your computer's that id. You can set a specific password to your computer. To set a password click on "Connection" and then choose "Set Unattended access" then it will require password twice which you want to set.

Now whenever you want to control your computer, simply open team viewer and type computer's ID in partner ID box and type that password that you have set already on that.

It will connect you with that computer without any authorization.

You can control it.

Thanks
