How to recover corrupted excel document on mac? I got 5 important excel documents which are corrupted by unknown viruses. I am very disappointed about the incident, maybe I get those viruses from a friend’s flash drive. How can I recover those files?

There are few methods available for recover corrupted excel files on mac OS. First method is using through Microsoft Excel program.
1.  Run the Microsoft Excel in Mac OS
2.  Then Go to the Open option for open the corrupted file.
3.  Select the corrupted MS Excel file in the Dialog Box and click the arrow next to the open button.
4.  Then Select the Open and Repair Option.

Dear user,
You can recover corrupted excel documents by using Corrupt xlsx2csv. It recovers Excel 2007 spreadsheets, it uses command line unzipping program. Follow these steps for your help:
1) First of all, click step 1 and select your Excel 2007 file and click Open.
2) Now on the main window, the recovered rows and tables will be displayed.
3) Click step 2 to save these files.

When a file is corrupted, word, excel, etc., has seen on your OS. You’ll get an error message telling the file is corrupted, delete or proceed? Don’t delete it.
The best thing to do is to recover it by using recovery software.
