Hi guys,

I'm having trouble using Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 so I decided to re-install the software.

During the process, I got this error message below saying Fatal error during installation."

I don't understand what it is trying to say. Can you help me fix this error?

Thanks!

The best way is to re install the operating system. The problem might have occurred because you have installed the software once on the machine using the key. The next time the machine recognizes the same key being used again and so it refuses. In order to remove this information, you may format the machine. The keys are normally kept hidden in same area of memory apart from the installation path and as such you will find the key nowhere saved so that you remove it. If you have any other problems then let us know it in detail.  You may contact support of the site.

In addition to the  above provided solution, I would like to add that you need to clear your registry to ensure re-installing. You can use a software that completely removes a software along with its keys and registries and this will do the needed. I'm positive that clearing out your registry will definitely lead to easy re-installing of this software on your system.

Thanks.
