I have an Android Tablet and I have been using it for the past 2 years. Nowadays, it is running very slow and people say that resetting the factory settings would be the best way to speed up my old device. How can I reset my tablet to its factory settings by saving some of the program's setups in the internal memory of the device?

Resetting your tablet to its factory settings might help making your tablet more responsive and faster. However you will loose all your installed applications and you will need to install them again. Open settings-Backup and reset. Back up your data on an external storage (e.g SD card), after it has completed select the factory reset option. This will take at least 5 minutes. Once it has completed your device will restart and all your data will have been wiped. Go back to settings-Backup and reset-restore and all your data will be restored.
