The way I know to perform a Google configuration is little scary but it will do the job for you. First take a back up of your mobile phone. I would suggest you to transfer everything to SD card and remove it before configuration. Factory resets your mobile it will format your mobile and it will restart. The first screen you will see, will be from the Google configuration screen. Follow the steps and add your credentials. It will be done. Insert your SD card after that.
