How can I in outlook use multi color fonts when composing an email? Each letter needs to consist of rainbow colors. The changes between colors could occur at vertical boundaries or diagonal, or could be radial, or some other way.

Hello Shryock,

With outlook you can receive their services and use them effectively if you know how to do so. In fact, as you have posed your question, it is possible to use different font colors only just by click on the text color tab on the top of the page. Also it is possible to use colors for underlined text by clicking the tab that is in the very right of the text color.

Hi EarlShryock,

“Text effects” is the answer to what you are looking for. See steps below: (Steps below perfectly applies to Outlook 2010)

1.       Highlight all texts or words you want to customize then “right click”.

2.       Look for “Fonts” Click (Left).

3.       Look for “Text Effects” button then Click.

4.       From the “Text Fill” Section there will be a “Gradient Fill” option.

5.       From this page you can add as much customization of your likings and as per your question the “Gradient Stops” can be customized to use different kind of colors to be applied to the texts.

Hope this helps!
