I have some .wps files from MS Works 4.5. How can I open this in MS Word 2007?

Hello,
Using works 6-9 converter you can easily open .wps files from MS Works 4.5 in MS Word 2007. If you don't have a Works 6-9 Converter on your system, then download the Works 6-9 Converter, and then follow the steps.
Step 1: Open the Microsoft Word 2007. Click Microsoft office button. Now click open.
Step 2: You can see dialog box will be opened. Follow below instructions.
1. Change the look in the box to the location of works documents.
2. Click all files in the files of type box.
3. As you like you can select the works document, i.e., select .wps file and click open button.
Step 3: In above steps you can easily open accurately. Now go to file menu click save as.
Step 4: Change the file type .wps to .doc type. Save it. The file is successfully converted to the Word document.

How to Open .wps files in MS Word 2007
Files that carry the “.wps” extension were created using Microsoft Works. In Microsoft Works, besides saving the file in its default extension name “.wps” you can also save it in Microsoft Office Word format. So, the easiest way to open a “.wps” file in Microsoft Office Word is to open it with Microsoft Works then save it again in Microsoft Office Word format. But that is, if you only have Microsoft Works installed on your computer. But if you don’t have, there’s still another way.
You need to download Works 6-9 Converter to do this. To download it, visit Microsoft | Download Center | Microsoft Works 6–9 File Converter. Another thing about this installer, it requires Microsoft Windows Installer 3.1 or higher. If you are running Windows XP Service Pack 3, you don’t need to install it anymore because this service pack already includes its own Windows Installer.
The Works 6-9 Converter automatically converts “.wps” files when they are opened in Microsoft Office Word. After downloading the installer, run it to install Works 6-9 Converter. After the installation, open Microsoft Office Word then go to the Open dialog box to open the file or simply hit CTRL + O from your keyboard. In “Files of type”, select “All Files (*.*)” to display all files then select the “.wps” file then click Open. Once the file has been opened, save it again as “.doc” format so you can readily open it in Microsoft Office Word anytime.
