Hi. To learn how to open PIZ file, first the file should be right-clicked and then from the options appearing in the drop-down list open with needs to be selected. Next, from the available programs, select the file management tool. However, if the program does not appear on the list, select a default program and then browse to find the program on the computer. Select all the text by selecting it from the file menu.
Next, browse a location where all the data should be extracted to. The file will get decompressed and all its contents will be transferred to the location which had been selected. To change the file extension from PIZ to ZIP, first the PIZ file needs to be right-clicked on and then its properties needs to be selected. Then, click on the general menu.
Delete the .PIZ file extension and replace it with .ZIP and click on OK. Click on yes so that the change gets applied to the file and the computer will change the format of the file to ZIP.
