How to monitor snmp service logs

Hello.

You have to use this troubleshooting which I suggest you  remove and  delete any SNMP rules remove any discovered SNMP devices uninstall SNMP snmp wmi provider from the RMS , then you have to reinstall each step very carefully and specially check the errors in application log at the start, then reboot it. Now we have to do is to install SNMP service and SNMP wmi provider, reboot server ideally. Now the SNMP services are to be started, now check application, system log, and check operation manager log.

Now you have to configure SNMP and restart your SNMP service and log again. Now you have to configure your device to send SNMP to the RMS, now check the device send SNMP to the RMS, and check logs for error. At this stage no error are doing nothing with OPSMGR it will help you to investigate further.

Configure rules and discover device, now you have to send SNMP to RMS log.

Thanks,

Stella.
