I'm sorry to hear you are having difficulties looking for the mouse pointer. (Me too!)Â
Don't worry! I'll help you out (& its rather easy too!)Â
1. Right click on your wallpaper (or desktop)Â
As you can see a new window popped up.. Go ahead and click on "personalize".
2. You will get a window that sort of looks like this:Â

Click the "change mouse pointers" link and you'll get another window..
3. Click on the "Scheme"Â drop down list and pick any scheme that you might fancy on.
I would suggest using the Extra large inverted one so you wouldn't miss it.Â

By personalizing your windows 7, you can discover many changes indeed.
I also have a software named Cursorfxpro, it provides you with a lot many varieties of big and small pointers.
Using this software, you can just change the design of your present mouse pointer into a hand or anything that may be suited to your vision.
