Hello,

In order to make your windows 7 desktop work as a WiFi hotspot, you need to have first a wireless internet adapter and software called connective or any software that is capable to work in hand with your wireless internet adapter and to make your desktop work as a WiFi hotspot.

You can download connectify for free, but there is also a Pro version which you need to pay. Once you have installed the software and the wireless internet adapter is already plugged in, you have to go to the “Network and Internet” of your PC Control panel and configure some settings.

I had sponsored you one video link.

In this video I have shown how to turn any desktop PC using windows 7 your own WiFi hotspot WITHOUT ANY ROUTER, to make this a software called a virtual router is of course needed.

The download link is VIRTUAL ROUTER

Going in this page click on the download button in the right side of the page and download it further operations are done on the video.

Virtual Router is a free, open source software based router for PCs running Windows 7 or Windows Server 2008 R2. Using Virtual Router, users can wirelessly share any internet connection (WiFi, LAN, Cable Modem, Dial-up, Cellular, etc.) with any WiFi device (Laptop, Smart Phone, iPod Touch, iPhone, Android Phone, Zune, Netbook, wireless printer, etc).

These devices connects to Virtual Router just like any other access point, and the connection is completely secured using WPA2 (the most secure wireless encryption).

ENJOY, WIFI.
