Hi. To learn how to make a bar graph on Word, first open MS-Word and then click on insert option. Next, select the chart button. Select the graph you would like to prefer for example, a pie chart. After the selection has been made, click on OK to insert the graph into your word document. Then, view the chart which has been inserted into the Word document the changes to which can be done in MS-Excel by popping up the Chart in MS Word-MS excel window. In MS-Excel, select the cells and type the data for the chart. Make sure that the graph reflects the actual numbers. The graph in Word will get updated automatically as and when you type data in MS-Excel. Manually, no changes need to be made to the graph. You can also change the title of the graph and the names on the axis.

Then, close the Excel window. If the graph needs to be modified again, double-click on the graph so that Excel gets opened and then select the option of editing the data from the chart tools mentioned. The colors of the graph can be changed too. Percentages and other number formats can be added from the options of chart layout. If the chart type needs to be changed from the pie chart to some other type, then click on the option to change the chart type.

Hope we helped.
