My phone battery takes a long time to charge fully yet it runs down within the next six hours. I am not happy about it and I wanted to know the cause of this condition and if it will be necessary to change my phone battery? I do not want to mention the brand of the phone but the only information I can give is that it is not an Android phone.

Also talk time consumes a lot of charge, considering the phone takes long to charge, the battery might not be the problem. However smartphones don't keep charge for so long but your might need to reduce the number of running applications and turn off internet connection when you are not using.
