You can listen to any PDF file through the use of Adobe Reader 6.0, 7.0, or 8.0. There are shortcuts used for different functions. You can use the shortcut Ctrl+shift+b if you want to listen the entire Document, Ctrl+shift+v if you want to listen the page only, Ctrl+shift+e  if you want to stop reading and Ctrl+shift+c  if you want  to resume it. Try it now and Enjoy!

Hi there!

Listening to PDF files is possible with the latest version of Adobe Reader. To activate, click on "View", then click on "Read Out Loud", and click on "Activate Read Out Loud"(keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+Y).

To start listening to PDF files (that is after activation), click on "View", "Read Out Loud", and click on "Read This Page Only" (for reading only 1 page of the PDF document, keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+V) or click on "Read to End of Document" (for reading the entire PDF document, keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Shift+B).

Another way of listening to PDF files is:

In Adobe Acrobat, there is an accessibility feature "Read Aloud". In this feature, a choice can be made to whether reading only a page from the PDF document or reading the entire PDF document. You would just need to install an Adobe Acrobat into your computer. After installing, choose "Edit", the click on "Preferences", select Reading from the list on the left side of the window and go over the settings and set it as what you prefer.
