You can try following this steps to install Synergy on your Mac:

  1. Click this download link to get Synergy.
  2. Double click on the .DMG file that was downloaded.
  3. Then just drag the Synergy icon to the Applications folder.
  4. Then open your Application directory then look for Synergy.

You can download the Synergy for MAC at source forge and it is an open source application and is totally free.

You will have less hassle installing this product, but you will undergo several things to configure this product to make contact with another computer to enjoy your mine craft game.

However, I also would suggest you to use Hamachi VPN client which is normally used in connecting several computers in mine craft and also in putting up a server in mine craft.
