Firstly I want to install windows 7 on windows 8 running PC guys. So I have following questions related to this.
1) Is it possible to install windows 7 on windows 8 PC?
2) If yes then how should I install & will I need to backup whole data before proceeding to installation of windows 7?

Windows installation is same in the case of both: Windows 7 and Windows 8. All you have to do is to create another partition for another Windows installation.
You can use Disk Management to get some space of your HDD for installing Windows 7. Learn how to use Disk Management. Shrink volume(s) to get at least 50GB space for Windows 7 installation.
Next, it’s time to start the installation. Retrieve an installation media, boot into the device and start the installation. Use the extracted space for installation. Learn how to install Windows 7.
After the installation is complete, you’ll be able to see two OS installation on boot up – Windows 7 and Windows 8. You can change the default OS from “msconfig.exe”. Boot into any OS and search for “msconfig.exe” on Start menu. Open the “Boot” tab, select your favorite OS and click “Set as default”. Just restart your PC.
