Hi,

      My friend installed Mac OS x lion recently and I was checking different software and applications on it. I tried to install VMware player Mac lion but it did not install and showed an error. I tried again and again but same option (error) occurred every time. Please tell what is the problem with PC and how to deal with it. Can VMware player be installed on Mac lion? Is there any solution?

Hi Kim Brauer,

VMware player is a windows based software. Therefore it won't work on OS X. However VMware has a software called VMfusion which is the exact same thing for MAC OS X. It works with OS X Lion as well.

 

You can download the latest version here (its a free trial) https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion.html. You have to buy it in order to use it permanently.
