One of my friends has come across a term Group Policy Management Console. What is it? How to install group policy management console?
GPMC stands for Group Policy Management Console. It has a set of programmable interfaces.
Step 1: Select Download link. From a drop down menu, you can choose a different language and click on Go.
Step 2: If you want to install the program immediately then Run this program by opening it. If you want to install it later then Save it.
Step 3: Run gpmc.msi package. Accept the End User License Agreement.
Step 4: Read the release notes and the location is %Program Files%GPMC folder.
Step 5: Select Start, then Run, and type GPMC.msc and then press OK.
Step 6: Select Start, then Run, and type MMC and then press OK.
Step 7: Choose Add/Remove Snap-in by clicking File menu. Click Add.
Step 8: Select Group Policy Management by Add Standalone Snap-in.
Step 9: Click Add then Close and then OK.
