How to install Avid Xpress 11 in Mac?

Hi Experts,

I am trying to install Avid Xpress 11 in OS X 10.5.6 but it is continuously displaying errors. Is Avid not compatible with OS X 10.5.6 or I have got the wrong file. Can anyone give me a valid file for installation?

Hello Fraserr,

Its a video editing software made for professionals in the TV a movie. It was available for Windows and Mac.
It has many high quality editing features provided by other Avid editing systems and Avid's Media Composing systems.
 
On March 17th 2008 it was discontinued and after June 2008 it was no longer for sales. 
Now Xpress Pro users can upgrade for their nonlinear editing software Media composer offered by Avid.
 
X press Pro has been discontinued after v5.8.3. The latest possible OS supported by Xpress Pro is 10.4.11
Only Media Composer works with Leopard (OS X 10.5.x).  Since you have a new Mac that won't work on anything earlier than Leopard you'll need to do an upgrade here.
