I am preparing financial reports and many other reports to my clients. I noted that although in Microsoft word we can insert a watermark to the pages, in Microsoft excel there is no option to insert a watermark. Can anyone help me with this?

Yes, you are right. Although a watermark can be inserted in Microsoft word there is no option to insert a watermark in Microsoft excel.

However, if we want to insert a watermark to an excel sheet there is an option to insert something similar to a watermark by using Header/Footer option in excel. Please follow the below steps.

First of all make sure that you have a picture to use as a watermark.

Then click on the print preview option again click on the page setup.

MS Excel page Setup

Then click on the customer header.

Page Setup Header footer

Now click on the insert a picture.

Go to the relevant place where the picture is available and select the picture. Then click ok twice.
