Another way of inserting a YouTube video into your WordPress website is to use a shortcode and in this format: [youtube=https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmg2K3ZlxUw]. Inserting the shortcode is done the same way as the previous method. You insert the shortcode in a separate line in your post. The difference when using a shortcode is that, the video is not viewable from the editor unlike in the previous method.
To view the video, you need to publish the post first.
