How to Improve Monitors to Digital Quality?

Hi Helenmarmstead,

To improve the display quality of a monitor, it will depend on your video card capacity. Some video cards do not support 3D display of pictures/videos but also it may be your monitor that has the problem.

1. Check the model of your monitor and look if it supports HD and how many pixels it can project and it's color display.

– If your monitor supports HD, and still it doesn’t project good photos/videos,

2. Check your video card. Check the model and capacity (ie. 128MB, 1GB or 2GB) Usually, 512MB graphics card can project 3D graphics well. If your video card is 128MB below, maybe you should upgrade your video card.

3. The file may be the problem of the display. If the file is not HD, it will not display a quality file as we would expect nowadays. Try playing an HD file with the monitor and see if its okay.

4. Check your drivers. Maybe, your graphics card is not installed. TO check, right click on My Computer and click Properties. Go to device manager and look under display. If beside it has a yellow question mark, it means you haven't installed the driver yet.

Hope this helps! Thanks!
