I am developing a website and want to test cms online. I also want that anyone can check my website that which type of CMS is used. Is it possible and how? Explain me how it is useful for a website and how can I check CMS of other websites? Any ideas and suggestions are welcomed.

For checking the CMS you can use Wappalyzer add-on: https://www.wappalyzer.com for Firefox and Chrome. In the Wappalyzer settings you can check what do you want to obtain from your website. There is options for CMS that detect what CMS is using your website. Also you may recognize CMS from viewing the source code. For popular CMS like Joomla or WordPress, it’s easy to know. WordPress is using domain.com/wp-admin.php as admin page and Joomla is using domain.com/administrator.
