How I can get my master password on my MacBook Pro without removing all the files on my laptop? I am running OS X 10.6.8 and tried to use my age password. But no luck.
Anyone can help to achieve this.

I believe that at this point you have another password and you want to change it because of security reasons. The steps to follow are this Click the Apple icon from the menu at the top left of the screen and then click on the system preferences. Click the Admin user just under my account if not selected already click change password.
Type your current password in the old password box then type the new pass word on the new password box type this new password again to verify it. Type a hint that will always remind you of your password whenever you forget it. Click change then apply it in the dock and click utilities then click keychain access to launch the keychain manager which holds all passwords.
In this click edit change password type the old password followed by the new password then verify the new password and click okay. If you follow this procedure you will keep your data intact in the laptop it interferes with nothing in your files.
