Hi Faisal,

Outlook is designed for easy access of email and good thing about is that you can customized folders, store large numbers of data since you Outlook is using your computer hard drive as storage.

Setting up an account on Outlook is easy, since it has a step by step instructions on what to do next.

If you are using Gmail account, this email can be set-up using that mail client.

Here are the steps for Gmail;

Open Outlook, Click Tools, Account Settings, Add email account. Select Mail, Pop3. Type your desired name, your Gmail email address.

You need to have a correct server settings for pop, smtp which can be found when your log-in to Gmail. This is located in the settings window in your Gmail account.

Here are the steps for Yahoo;

Unfortunately, for Yahoo email only paid Yahoo email account will work on email client such as Outlook and Outlook Express. The same process steps needs to be done when creating Yahoo email. You need to know the POP/SMTP server. See above for instructions.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

There are two solutions for your query.

Solution 1:

Choose automatic settings from add new account.

Solution 2:

Choose manually add an account from add new account.

Whatever option you choose, you have to change your Gmail for that. You have to enable POP services for your account.

And if you want to use IMAP then you have to enable IMAP protocol on Gmail.

And so far as is Yahoo mail concerned you can use following settings on Ms Outlook.
