I’m not sure if you still need a software just to be able to reveal or display all files in a folder including hidden files. Files are set hidden by some applications and especially by the operating system to protect them from being deleted accidentally or simply just to protect them from being modified like in a virus infection, for example. This is important to protect the file’s integrity and preservation.
If you want to display all files contained in a folder in Windows, open Windows Explorer. After that from the menu, click Tools then Folder Options. On the Folder Options window, select the View tab. Under Advanced settings in Hidden files and folders category, enable the option “Show hidden files and folders” and then click Apply and or OK.
This will then display all the contents of that particular folder including those files that are set to hidden. Now, to hide those files again, go back to the previous steps then select or enable “Do not show hidden files and folders”.
