How to get full access in excel file in shared network?

My fellow workers and I are experiencing a problem with a Microsoft Excel sheet that is shared through our Network drive.

Full access to that Excel sheet was given to all 10 users to and we have also enable the Share Workbook option to allow more people to work on that workbook at the same time.

The problem is out of 10 users with full access, only six of them are able to work on the workbook.

The remaining four users would receive the error message saying “Recover my data and restart Microsoft Office Excel”.

I am hoping you’ll be able to help us identify the problem and to find a solution. Thank you.

Hi Michael,

You can use excel in a shared domain in windows live or Microsoft sharepoint using the Excel web Application. It is available for the two operating systems. To get to work on a document through the collaboration management server you need to save the workbook on a management server, ensure all the users have access to the management server. Steps to follow to publish a workbook on a management server are:

Click the microsoft office's button, then click on the arrow next to publish then click on Document's management server. choose the location of the server and the name of the workbook then click save on the Save as dialog box.
