This error means that there is a non-Symantec security product installed on the computer. Symantec allows only one anitivirus/antispyware product at a time to enable the best protection and avoid conflict between different security programs. The solution to this error is to uninstall any non-Symantec security product from your computer.

The uninstallation can be done by opening the Control Panel from the Start menu, choosing Add/Remove Programs, clicking on the program name and then clicking Remove (or Uninstall) and following on-screen instructions.

Hi Luiz

In order for you to solved this problem you should uninstall non Symantec security product. To do that go to windows then open the run box dialog, type appwiz.cpl. Then a list of installed programs will show, select the non Symantec security product and click uninstall/remove. Just follow the on screen instructions after that reboot highly recommended.
