There is no any other way of reinstalling this software. You may face this problem again if you uninstall it normally because there are some elements of the software that were kept in the registry. So it is really necessary to use advanced system care or CC cleaner. After doing so, you have need to perform a fresh install of the software.

To fix this, start your MS Word in Safe Mode, and then press Ctrl to launch MS Word. If it works, the issue is due to a 3rd party add-on. To disable this, follow the steps below:
1. Click File> Options> Add-in and then click Go on the Manage menu and then Com-in Add.
2. If you find any add-ons, untick the check box to disable them.
3. Close MS Office and then re-open it again.
4. You have to add a check to the list of the Add-ons and then restart MS Office again and repeat the same process again until you finally identify which add-on is causing the issue and then disable it.
