How to fix a laser mouse

• First of all disconnect your laser mouse from your system. Remove the USB cable for wired mouse or the USB dongle for wireless mouse. Try reconnecting the laser mouse and see if the problem is fixed.
• Turn the laser mouse over and check for dirt or dust in the lens. Sometimes even a hair or other small piece of dirt may have been trapped under the bottom of the mouse, which may be an obstacle with the signal.
• Or you can try uninstalling the program for your Laser mouse manufacturer.

             Go to Start -> Control Panel. Click "Uninstall a program."

• Try to look for the manufacturer program entry in the list of programs. Select the program and click Uninstall. Click Next until the manufacturer drivers and software are completely uninstalled from the system. And then download the latest driver for your laser mouse from the manufacturer’s website, and install it. Hopefully it will work.
• Else buy a new mouse.

Good day!!!There`s  a few steps on making  your laser mouse work again. One of the solution is on the device managers list try uninstalling the mouse. The next thing is to try rebooting the mouse while its un- plugged. After that, go back to windows and try to plug the mouse back. Re-start your computer.  If this doesn’t work try putting another mouse for us to see which one has defects, the mouse or the pc.
