Hi,

I have been trying to connect to the Internet for almost a day but, it was to no avail. I receive a pop up on my desktop Which says "ERROR 691".  The Error however, occurs only when I try to connect to the Internet. I tried rebooting my modem but, its of no help.

I also tried to enter the user name and password more than once, to ensure that I have entered the correct user id and password, but my internet fails to connect.

Thanks,

Arul

To resolve this issue

Click on start then go to connect to

Select your desired network connection/dial up connection

Right click to select its properties

Go to options tab

Clear the check box saying include windows logon domain and apply the settings by clicking ok

Now dial up again and it should be okay otherwise you will need to re install your modem drivers

This issue might occur:

1. When some other person/process is using the same port as you are using.

2. Registry problem in your PC.

This is how you solve this problem :

1. Restart your computer

2. Or check your PC for registry errors
download free registry cleaner from here.

3. You can also try to reinstall your BSNL dataone driver, this might just fix your issue.
