This kind of error usually occurred when you are trying to install or use the Adobe Application in your computer. The problem is your java script file (Jscript.dll), it is not properly running. You can try to resolve this error problem by registering again the culprit file that affected your operating system.

  • Go to “Start” then click “Run” when a dialog box displays, input : “CMD”.
  • Once you see the black screen displays input: “regsvr32-u jscript.dll” then click “Enter”.
  • Then input: “regsvr32 jscript.dll” and click “Enter”.
  • Now try to re-install.

You can also remove or clear out your registry, the error can also occurred if your “Registry database” settings are not properly working. You can remove your registry by downloading and installing a “Registry Application”.

This error occurs when the computer does not have VB script registered. To fix this, you need administrator privileges and try the following:

1. Open the Run dialog (press Windows+R)

2. Type regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter

3. On the dialog that appears, click OK.

For Vista users:

1. Right-click on the Command Prompt under Accessories and choose "Run as administrator", then click OK.

2. If you have Vista x86, type cd c:windowssystem32 and press Enter.

If you have Vista x64, type cd c:windowsSysWOW64 and press Enter.

3. Type regsvr32 jscript.dll and press Enter, type regsvr32 vbscript.dll and press Enter again.

4. Type exit and press Enter to exit the command prompt.
