What is the possibility of LED having dead cells and what methods and tools are available on how to check death pixels on led

and diagnose the same by creating a long lasting solution for a better display?

Hi,,

Yes, if you are referring to the LED Monitors, it is possible to have dead cells in your screen. Because, though we called these screens as LED, actually these are having the same LCD panels which were used to LCD Monitors. However LEDs are used to backlight the LCD panel in LED screens where as which was done by fluorescent tubes in the LCD screens.
Hence, as you aware it is quite possible to have dead cells in LCD panels.

You can use program such as Dead Pixel Tester to identify the dead cells in your screen.
However these are very simple programs which only help you to identify the dead cells but will not detect them.  

Its works like this. It convert you screen in to one colour & you need to examine the screen for different colour spots. If you find any, those are the dead cells.

However if you find a dead cell in your monitor, I believe that it can’t be fixed simply. You better contact your supplier.
