You can fit your image in a document by changing the size of your image on to it. On the other hand you can change your document size to fit the image.

At first open your Photoshop version. Then open the image and the doc and then place the image into the document new your image is show as a layer now click on to your image to select now press “ctrl+t” you see the new border come up on the image now you can select the border click it and drag it to fit the image.

That is so fun isn’t it.

Good bye.

Re-scaling or resizing an image in Adobe Photoshop is easy. In Adobe Photoshop 7, you can go to “Image” then “Image Size” and then set the new image size. But always remember that resizing will have a bad effect on small images when resizing them making them a lot bigger. There are times the image becomes pixilated which are common to very small pictures. Here’s an example on resizing an image to fit the default document size of Adobe Photoshop which is 7 x 5 inches or 504 x 360 pixels.

Open Adobe Photoshop then click File, New or simply press CTRL + N. Select “Default Photoshop Size” from “Preset Sizes” then click OK. Next open your image file. You will now have 2 documents opened, first is the blank document, and second is your image. To scale the picture to fit the document size I mentioned, from the menu click “Image” followed by “Image Size” then set the size according to the one I mentioned. Another thing about resizing, don’t expect your image to exactly fit the size of the document especially if it is not proportional. Setting the image’s size exactly as what I mentioned above will make the image look differently because of irrelative proportion.

To resize the image according to its proportion, put a check on “Constrain Proportions” then enter only the value for width then hit OK or the value for height and vice versa. It will automatically adjust the image. For example if you enter a value for width, the value for height is automatically calculated based on its proportion. Then after resizing the image simply drag it to the blank document using the “Move Tool”.
