I have been given a task to convert a number of pdfs to various office software, Is there a way of escaping the problem of pdf font change in office software?
You will always face this problem although office has included newer option of pasting but it often does not work with pdf text. You need to set format text by your work. You need to remove all un necessary return (new line starts without ending of line). Select entire text and set font and text size that match to your requirements.
If there is any picture you can past it by using past icon on the Home menu on ribbon  as shown in figure
