How to enter the service mode of Roland SC-545EX printer?

I want to do something in the service mode of my Roland SC-545EX but the problem is I don’t know to enter the service mode menu of the printer.

I know that after entering the service mode menu I can do the job next to it because it is a menu driven system.

All I need to do is just search for the function on the menu.

I know that expert on this site can give me the code.

How to enter the service mode of Roland SC-545EX printer?

Entering the service mode of Roland SC-545EX printer is a very risky move. This was hidden to avoid error configuration of the printer. This menu was designed for engineers and technician of this machine.

Sometimes suppliers’ technical team teaches this menu to their customers with caution. Only the advance users can do the job for this menu. But as far as your expertise, you can also modify settings on this menu but you must take the risk of destroying the configuration of your printer that will cause machine problems.

The service code command is remembered or coded as “S” plus “V” and power or Inverted “S” plus “V” then power.

There are three power buttons in Roland SC-545EX printer. The main power switch – located at the back of the machine; the heater power switch – located on the front panel of the printer beside temperature display and the Sub Power switch – also located on the front panel of the printer.

Now, let’s do the keys, the pattern is S, V + [power]. Press the button ^, <, >, v simultaneously then hold < + v + > + [power]. If it does not work try the inverted “S” which is ^, >, <, v simultaneously then hold < + v + > + [power].
