Lindacollins,

Enabling the  Desktop Cleanup Wizard is done by:

Right Click on open Desktop area, click Properties.
in the Display properties window, Click DESKTOP tab and click on the  Customize Desktop button.

This Dialog Box will open:

put a check on the radio box for  "Run Desktop Wizard every 60 days" to enable the wizard.

You can also click on the button "Clean Desktop Now" to run the wizard immediately.

Unused icons will be saved in a folder on your desktop for you to edit which can be kept or deleted.

Happy Computing.
