I have some mpg video files that need to show on browsers by html5 tag. But those are not supported in browsers. Is there any problem in mpg to html5 source code? Please help me.

You will have to make sure that the video codec of your file is compatible with the HTML5 spec. There are three video formats that works with HTML5. It could be either H.264, Ogg Theora or VP8 (WebM). But, it will also depend on the type of browser you are using. Try checking on the chart for compatibility. Hope this works for you.
