How to edit NTFS image in ghost explorer editor?

Hi,

The solution depends on the version of your software. Prior to GSS2, deleting files option was present. GSS2 allows editing files for NTFS like FAT. One thing to keep in mind is that, in case you in-place edit a file, make sure you recompile it for the changes to effect. This is because in-place edits will keep adding instructions to the end of the file, which gets executed when you recompile it.

Check for the tool named omnifs – This is run in DOS along with Ghost Editor. This tool is specific for things that you want to do and that is out of scope of the Explorer. The 32 bit version of this tool is omnifs32.

One another simpler option is to drop it to a drive, edit it and recapture it. But I recommend that you try with explorer or the omnifs tool.

Hope this helps.
