Yes, we can earn some money with surfing the net and using Google, not from the search engine but from Google advertising.
Google have a program called Google Ad sense. It is a program that will display advertising in your website or in Google search  engine. When a visitor click the advertising provided by Google  posted in your website on the location that you choose, you will get money.
Another way to earn money while surfing is joining paid to surf program. It is a program that makes you surf a specific website for about 30 seconds each and you will be paid for each website that you visit.

That’s right. You don’t earn anything from the search engine. It is just a way to search content on the internet to help people find what they are looking for. The possibility of earning some money is through online ads but this is only for those who have websites. When you have a website, you can sign up for Google AdSense and integrate Google ads on your pages.
This way, when users visit your website and surf the pages, they will see the ads being displayed. But displaying the ads won’t earn you anything. When a user or visitor clicks on an ad, that’s the only time you can earn. The more people start clicking the ads, the more you earn from the ads displayed.
The ads displayed on the pages are relevant to your site’s type of content. But if you don’t have a website, there’s no way you can earn from online ads.
