Help, the senior expert iPad!

I recently bought an iPad version 4.3.4.

I want to know if its possible to downgrade it to 4.3.3.

This is because I cannot open the iTunes and some apps are not functioning as well.

How do I fix it?

To downgrade your iOS 4.3.4 to iOS 4.3.3 you need to download that version of iOS to which you want downgrade
Do the following steps:

  • Download the 4.3.3 iOS IPSW file.
  • Connect your iPad to your PC in DFU mode.

NOTE: To be sure if your iPad is successfully in DFU mode, its screen should be off and iTunes logo will not show up. Otherwise, it indicates that your device is not in DFU mode but in Recovery Mode.

Now, this is the most important part. You have to get iTunes actually contact Saurik’s server while it assumes a contact with Apple’s server. To do this, follow these steps:

  • Go to C:WindowsSystem32driversetc and locate the file named as “hosts”.
  • Open the host file in NOTEPAD and add the following line: 74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com

Lastly, save the file then close Notepad, and you’re downgrading your 4.3.4 to 4.3.3.
