I was wondering since I have so much on my tablet I would love to reformat it.
I have a Samsung galaxy and I have no clue on how to erase everything.
I would like to just wipe it clean.
How do you re format a tablet?

Samsung Galaxy Tablet has an option of Reformat by which you can not only reset your tablet even you can remove everything as well.
Here are few easy steps to follow.
1. Press "Menu Key" button on the bottom of tablet screen.
2. Select "Setting" from menu options.
3. Select "Privacy".
4. Select "Factory Data Reset".
5. Select "Reset Device/Phone".
If you have any storage device attached and you would like to reset it as well, in this  menu check the USB Storage option so it could be formatted too.
6. Select "Erase Everything".
After following the above mentioned procedure your tablet will reboot after complete reset.

A hard reset will reset the Samsung Galaxy Tablet back to factory settings if there are problems with the device that you can't solve using any other method. Here are the steps to follow:
Note: These steps clear data from the device. SD card data like your photos and music are not erased unless you choose to format the SD card.
1. With the device off, press and hold Volume Up and Power.
2. Release the Power button when you see the Samsung logo, but continue to hold Volume Up until the recovery screen appears.
3. Use the Volume buttons to navigate the menu and select wipe data / factory reset. Press Home to choose the selection.
4. Press Volume Up continue.
The Galaxy Tab should then go through the hard reset process.
If you have access to the OS, you can also perform a hard reset in Settings.
1. Open the Settings app.
2. Select Privacy.
3. Choose Factory data reset.

In order to format a tablet computer you need to have your windows installation cd.
In your case your using a Samsung galaxy tablet, you need to first back up all your data like contacts,emails,SMS,because as soon as you reset all data on the device will be removed.
There are two ways to. The first one is through your android OS, a.go to menu b.then settings c.then privacy.d.just choose.
But if your we do the second way,the .a.first you have to turn off the tablet.you can do that by pressing 0 minutes.b.you have to button until the logo appears, but continue to so that the recovery screen will appear,use the volume up and down to navigate c.(it depends on the model of the tablet.)
