Dear user,
iCloud automatically backs up the data (most important) . if you have enabled backup on your device.
If you are using iOS 5 this is easy.
And it will also run daily basis if you have internet over wifi and have connected to a power source and have locked the screen
But you can also use back up feature manually whenever your device is connected to internet over wifi.
You can do this easily by going to settings > iCloud > Storage and Backup
