Make a trip in the Control Panel. Remove all trial or any programs that you cannot use for it only adds load with your system.

Use msconfig to disable programs that run during startup. Click Start, then Run and type msconfig and press ENTER. Click Startup and disable all the programs that you don't want to run during startup.

You can also use CCleaner. This freeware enables users to clean all rubbish components from Windows and other applications that are created on a regular basis. You could enable its default settings and run it. This can speed up your system.

  1. You may optimize the speed of your computer by removing some unwanted or unused applications installed on your computer.
  2. Stop or make all services you don’t need run manually.
  3. Remove all your start-up programs for these programs use your memory and CPU resources that makes your computer run slowly.
  4. Scan your computer for virus and remove infections.
  5. Defragment your computer at least once a month to make data in your hard disk drive organized and easy to search and read.
  6. Clean-up your registry. Most applications don’t remove their entries on the registry when un-installing. Cleaning the registry will make processing faster.

Hello,

First scan the hard disk from your PC and then confiscate excessive archives in the laptop and if you want to progress the routine of your laptop, scan every week and then use the disk cleanup to have active space on the hard disk.

To do that, click the start menu and select, all programs;  then click accessories then select the System Tools and you can see the Disk Cleanup, just click that one.
